In the early months of 2005, we took on the challenge of providing our community
with news from a different perspective than mainstream media. It has been a long
journey,
in our personal and business lives, and has taken on a whole new direction,
including necessitating change in communicatingns. It has been a difficult decision,
but we have decided to 'adjust our sails'. March 15, 2009 was our final print edition.
We will no longer communicate via newsprint, rather digital.
We had, and still have, a lofty Vision and Mission --
Vision ... to be a positive voice of the under-served community,
celebrating its diversity;
Mission ... to be Interesting, Informative, Innovative, and a Resource
... serving a Multicultural Community!
We did fulfill our Vision and Mission ... and, because of community participation,
it was a success!
Thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement. It could not have become
a success were it not for wonderful, dedicated persons such as yourself!
We remain steadfast in our determination to provide positive news about and to our
community. How can you help? We hope we can depend on you to …
(1) Continue submitting news and views … and advertising, via U.S. Mail, E-mail,
Telephone or Fax. (preferably e-mail).
(2) Tell your family, friends, and co-workers about the CVs Website.
In this era of change for most everyone, as we 'adjust our sails', we invite you to
continue traveling with us to reach our destination ...
