Can I Just Say….Thank You!
Lord, I come to You as I am. There is no need for me to “fake the funk,” put on
a different face, or talk to You from a script. Why don’t I just speak from what is
already Yours….my heart.
I don’t want to ask You for anything, my Lord and Savior. I just want to say
thank You for all that You have done for me, is doing for me, and is going to do for
me. You were there when no one else was. Your love lifted me when no other love
could. Your warm embrace made me to endure, while Your knowledge, wisdom and
understanding guided me through the storms of life. I just want to say thank You!
How wonderful art Thy works, my Prince? Abundant grace and mercy have You
shown to your servant. Thank You! Sometimes I am at a loss for words because I
don’t feel mere words – at least any I know – can describe You and all that You are.
When the world needed a Savior, You stepped up to the plate and connected,
producing the biggest “home run” ever hit! You did not strike out, but walked “across
the plate” and laughed in the face of the enemies of God as they bowed down to You,
our Redeemer, Lord and King….our Savior who never stops watching over His
children. Thank You!
Thank You, my Lord and Savior for good health, food, shelter, finances,
education, family, friends, peace of mind, Your Holy and precious Son….the use and
activity of my limbs. Lord can I just say….thank You! You NEVER turned Your back
on me! Can I whisper in Your ear how much I love You? May I incline underneath the
Shadow of the Almighty and tell You how much You mean to me? Can You feel the
melody of my heart that beats for You? Can You turn my tears into words that say, “I
Love You!” I love You, Lord and I just want to say….thank You!
You mean the world to me, Lord and Savior! Can I just take some time to
say….thank You!
